Once again our very own CarolNYC, who went undefeated through the field to take 1st place in this weekend's New England Women's Classic 9 Ball Tour stop, has won the qualifying spot for the WPBA Canadian Classic.

Stretch,I took 95North all the way and made it into Mass. in 3 1/2 hours-coming home (95South)-when I hit NY-one checkpoint-there was construction that veered me off toward Throgs Neck Bridge instead GW bridge-I get to EZ pass toll,the guy in front of me's pass doesnt work,sitting there,waiting,an alarm goes off saying "STOP ALL TRAFFIC"-then these police cars,trucks block all lanes and we creep over the bridge at 3mph,ha ha ha-so I book on through Queens on Cross Island to Belt Pkwy-I get to the Verranzano,and the bottom of the bridge is a million police lights! Deadstop at entrance-Im like "now what"unbelievable!

I sure wish that event had got some press here ahead of time. It was, I think, at Renaisance Billiards in Quincy which is &lt; 5 miles from my house. I would have swung by after my soccer game to me Carol (I would have stopped home and showered first /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif) and observe some of the the girls in action.
