wooden threads

I have a cue with a radial pin and i dont know if it is due to heat or moisture, the shaft threads have tightened up quite a bit to where i have a VERY hard time screwing it together. I was wondering if anyone has any remedies for that. when i had the cue new it was ok, so i didnt buy it that way. Any help would be appreciated /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif thanx

Nate...Try a drop or two of dish soap on the pin. That should enable you to screw the cue together easily.
