Starting my own tournament

Hey guys,

I just needed some help in organizing a school tournament. I have 14 players, and my question is, what should the first/second/third/final round games be (in terms of how many games should be played, like one game elim. or race to 3)?

You don't mention what game will be played...
If it's 8-Ball, I suggest a race to 3 minimum. For 9-Ball, a race to 5 minimum.
Also, use a 16 player chart and put one bye in each half of the draw.
