My team won our APA tri-cups this weekend for the Vancouver/Portland/Salem areas. We had a good mix of good shooting, luck and breaks to give us the win. Was a fun tourney. I won all 7 of my matches during the weekend. Beat a SL6 5-2, SL7 5-4, SL4 5-1, SL5 5-0, SL7 5-1, SL7 5-2, SL7 5-0. Think I missed two shot attempts that I tried to make without playing safe.
The tourney ran a little late and there was a 9ball tourney getting started as we were down to 2 tables. The match was 2-2 and so we had to go to a sudden death single game featuring our SL2 girl against their SL4 guy for $500!!. After a few pocketed balls, and missed opportunities by their player I called time out and showed our girl the 4 ball runout. Sure enough she did this for the last 2 balls.. not sure I would have made that in that situation.. LOL
