I've been following the Red Sox teams since the mid 50s (when I was a little pup)

In the 60s we moved to Memphis and the only Baseball on TV available was the Saturday Game of the Week (usually a NY team Giants, Dogers or Yankees) Pee Wee Reese (Yankee short stop) and Dizzy Dean (St Louis pitcher) were the commentators. All in Black and White.

On the radio, the only games I could pickup were out of KMOX St Louis and became a Cardinal fan in the early 60s.
I have lots of great memories of following the Cards to World Series Championships in the 60s and 80s. Seems like there is a trend with the Cardinals. 20s 40s 60s and 80s were decades when the Cards won either a League Championships and World Series.

If the Cards beat the Astros today, I will have very mixed emotions about the 2004 World Series. BoSox vrs Cards. Who do I root for?

Good place to be in, when I will be happy with either outcome.

If Houston wins, I'll be pulling for the BoSox. I would love to see Clemens pitch again in Boston.
