Predator shaft info please

I recently got an "old" Predator shaft. It does not have the cougar emblem below the 314 on the shaft. Is this normal or possibly a fake?

It's just an earlier production. My first one that I bought about three years ago only had the 314 on it while the last one I bought has the 314 and the animal. (cougar, panther or whatever) /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I second SPetty's post. 314 w/o logo = older production shaft. The 314 on the older shafts actually was a small print/font size also.
