View Full Version : Hey CCB'er! Where do YOU live?

Dr. Diana Sorrentino suggested a CCB'er tournament based on qualifiers held in various municipalities/regions with a "National" tournament held at the end of the year to crown the "Top CCB'er." See her post below:

<blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font><hr>Good afternoon:

Given the interest in CCB Tournament to be held in conjunction with the US Open in September, as well as those of us who will not be able to compete in the aformentioned event, maybe we should throw together some regional events dedicated to the CCB regulars and then have a national event for the ultimate bragging rights. There could be a Men's division, Women's division and a division open to Men and Women.

What do you think of the idea? It appears workable, especially when you take into consideration the fact that many of us are grouped in clusters around the country.

Additionally, if there is enough interest, we might be able to strong arm the Billiards Digest organization into supporting the events and the endeavor.

Just a little food for thought!!! <hr></blockquote>

I'm interested to know how many CCB'ers we really have around the country. The following poll is broken down into states and area codes. Select the STATE AND AREA CODE that you live in. Please participate in the poll only ONCE!

Thanks,

Ken

I asked that you "vote" only once...then I realized, I want you to select STATE &amp; AREA CODE. NEVER FEAR! It can be done...you just have to do it during two different sessions.

Also...post something after you take the poll (to keep it near the top or at least on the first page.)

Ken

You forgot all of us boarders in Canada..

It is possible that we could take the sled-dogs to your border. Go through the rigours of security, and show up for some of the events close to our border..

What a lucky person you are. Montreal is beautiful and if I ever had the chance to live in Canada, Montreal would be my choice. I spent a week there at the Inter-Continental on Saint Antoine Street. Spent a few bucks at some of the clubs and ATE LIKE A PIG!

Diana,

I wish you the chance with your nearest tournament (in Athens, GA.) I wish that I could make look at it but it also far will be obliged to lead simply. The price of the plane ticket on this late date is also cost prohibitory.

Better of chance!

Best of luck!<hr></blockquote>
