My brother-in-law got a table a few months ago. My sister thought it would be cool to get him some of those clear resin balls. I know they aren't regulation weight and my question is, does this make a big difference for the amateur player? also, does anyone know about the durability (do they show scuff marks easily)?. I know they are a novelty item and look neat when they're fresh out of the box, but what about further down the road?
Thanks a lot,
Josh

They are just a novelty, put them o the shelf and get some good balls. I think they could even hurt your game, you can't even see the edge of the balls. It might be fun to play by candle light also but I would not recommend it. Use the equipment the game is meant to be played with.

Thats sage advise Popcorn! I made a mistake a while back getting some swirley design balls off Ebay. One ball came apart and the others are scuffed up. I bought a set of Arimith Belgian balls and will never go back.
