Made you look :-) ...but really, I think we need a standard shirt (polo please or button up) that we can wear at these tourneys so we can recognize each other. Food for thought...does anybody have a connection to get these shirts printed up...(maybe Muellers)...What about design ideas...Color?...There are a couple of places here locally I could try if no one else has a good angle...Waduya say?

Good evening:

As timing would have it, I am visiting a custom embroiderer tomorrow in order to have some blouses embroidered with the logo of my newest tournament sponsor. If you wish, I can share the information with you on cost and volume.

Good evening:

On second thought, maybe we should approach Mike P. at Billiards Digest. He can arrange for the production of the shirts and blouses and sell them to the CCB regulars. Good for him, good for Billiards Digest and Good for the CCB regulars.

Here's what I got from Mueller's:
Knit 50% cotton 50% polyester = $16.95
Personization $3/line $3 per name
Emblems $5.50

I'm in...but we need to come up with design ideas...I know some of guys from the land of animation have ideas...

Hi Doc,
It would have to be a cool lookin shirt though. And prices would have to beat their subscription price.

Good evening:

It would be wise for Mike to offer a One (1) year's subscription or renewal with every shirt purchase of Three (3) or more !!!

Once you come up with a logo, there's a website called cafepress.com that lets you upload images to create T-shirts, hats, cups, etc that people can buy. This would solve any distribution problems. Since there would be a profit made, I suggest that you designate a treasurer, who could then show up an agreed-to tourney to buy everyone a round.

Well, it seems that no marketable idea is unique..... I'm currently working on three designs, including a nice polo. Stay tuned.

Hey here's a futuristic view: The group here gets stocked with shirts of identical design and then next nationals in Vegas for teams, there could be a collection of the CCBers to represent the board as a bonafide team....sid~~~would be an interesting way to coagulate

How about a patch that can be applied to the garment of your choice?

You could apply it to a jacket, or tee-shirt.. if you want. Or, even your cue case..

Why just keep it to a shirt?

Just thinking outside the CCB Box

Perhaps we could adopt some Colors and a Hand signal like the street gangs. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif Maybe even throw-in some kind of walk that would be recognizable from a distance. LOL, Just kidding.......

Yeah, Cheesemouse, the walk the guy does on the Levi's commercial would definately set us apart, although I'm not sure I could do it. LOL

I designed a shirt last year for my local league (in Phoenix) that was a simple white t-shirt (Hanes BEEFY-T) with a cartoon drawing of a little fat man, holding a cue (in black outline form.) He had a Master's Blue chalk moustache.

Beneath the caricature, it read:

"Got Chalk?" (a spin on the "Got Milk?" ad campaign.)

We then put the name of the league on the back. Could do the same with the letters: "CCB'er".

Regards,

Ken (still has the artwork AND a copyright!)

Ken
Now if you could make it a black t-shirt with white caricature, I'll send you my check. ***Lester~allergic to white!

Good evening:

They must be sleeping at the switch, again. With al the CCB regulars and visitors, imagine what the shirts could do for their publicity. Not as if we are asking them to give them away, just have them made and we would BUY them...

I'll check prices on my end in the Fort. Keep in mind that some of us need to have larger sizes made available plz. I would prefer 4x for fit and to be a little loose fitting.
