View Full Version : Earl on Medication

From www.mosconicup.com (http://www.mosconicup.com) quoting Earl Strickland:
ďI know Iím a great player and Iím starting to play better now. Iím really enjoying it here in Holland and thereís only one Amsterdam in the whole world."
Perhaps Stricklandís most telling comment came when asked why he seemed a much calmer man ĖďThe doctors have got me on medication!Ē

Maybe he is on a prescribed medication. Are you trying to insinuate something?

Not at all. He said the doctors have him on the medication so I'm assuming it is a prescribed medication. I hope that he finds the inner peace that has so long eluded him.

If in fact Mr. Strickland is on medication, then good for him if he needs it (I do not know Mr. Strickland). There isn't anything wrong with that.
My Doctor has me on medication too. What's your point ???

I believe Earl mentioned this during the World Summit. In the interview after he beat Harriman with that (lucky?) 9-ball shot, he mentioned his attitude being better after seeing a doctor and I believe he mentioned medication then. I know I remember him talking about it and I haven't seen the MC footage yet...

Good for him. Good for us all. I'm sure it will help. I'll start watching him again.

The point is that Earl has been a jerk and maybe now he wont be.

I was just reffering to the use of the little shocked face in your post.

Well if he needs medication to calm down, good for him to get the help. The interesting thing will be to see if it effects his game in any way for better or worse.

Maybe some of the medication could be a doobie from the cafe's in Amsterdam?
DG - nothing wrong with that, if it helps to mellow him out

Viagra doesn't count, Troy.

There is another Amsterdam and it is in NY. It is the home of Frank Taberski, a Hall of Fame poolplayer and Kirk Douglas an actor of sorts.####
