I thought the WPBA was a group of pool playing ladies and Fran shouldn't be the only lady singled out. So here are the requirements for pro, active pro, and touring pro

In answer to your question about the WPBA's requirements about the "Pro" status, there are 3 different levels.

Pro, Active Pro and Touring Pro.

A player receives their pro status when they place in the top half of a WPBA points event 4 times within a 10 tourment period. They would automatically get their Active Pro status if they had also played in 50% of the last 10 events. They would get their Touring Pro status if they had competed in 80% of the last 10 events.

Once a player reaches the Pro level she has to "maintain" that level with a combination of top-half finishes and participation.

To maintain:

Touring-Pro: 2 top-half finishes and 80% participation.
Active-Pro: 1 top-half finish and 50% participation.

Hope this helps and as you can see it is a piece of cake so
you can figure out who comes and goes. Shouldn't be any secrets in sports public records.

Ok but what do these levels do for them? What does a touring pro get that an active pro doesn't and so on?

They get an automatic invite.
