I have an antique Brunswick Makada pool table. I purchased new cushions from Mueller. The 6 cushions came as strips that need to be cut to size. Does anyone have experience doing this? I thought I could just slap them on and be done. No so! I need to cut the cushions to the proper length and angle. Length is not a problem, but angle is. It is a compound angle. Anyway, has anyone done this before and would have some advice on angles and what to cut it with?

thanks

You might try posting on the rec.sport.billiard newsgroup. There seems to be lots of table mechanics there, very willing to share information. Just FYI-good luck!

Cutting with a knife is not accurate if my hand is doing the cutting! I have better luck cutting it long, then using a belt sander to get the final smooth angle. May want to experiment first....
