View Full Version : Two Layers Left On Moori Q

I have a Moori on my play cue that has lasted maybe two years, wears so slow that I am thinking that I will keep the tip in wait for the Reno trip in May, even though it has only 2 layers remaining. It has looked like it is today for the past couple of months, so it has a slow death for sure. Whatcha think, replace or keep? I like they way it plays today being this short...sid

If you have a fiber pad two layers is fine, imo. I assume you're counting two layers in the sidewall, not the entire tip (crown and all).
W/o pads, I would probably change it.

With a fiber pad my tip was down to 3/4 of a layer in the sidewall; played with it for 2 months without incident. There was more pad than leather, lol.
