My favorite subject...lol. My cue is a Skip weston burl in ebony six pointer with lizard wrap and ivory ferrules. Here are some pictures of it:

Nice cues guys, Zack, how do you like the lizard wrap compared to conventional linen wrap? I'd post a pic of mine but I don't think you guys need to see a cheap decaled production cue. /ccboard/images/graemlins/blush.gif Ives, hangs his head in shame !!!!! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I very much prefer leather/lizard wraps to linen!

It's appalling to see the chalk lying upside down on the table
Here's a helpful hint for you:
"Green side up", or blue,pink,whatever
Also a good idea when assembling a pool table
Nice cue though !!!!

It looks like it is on it's side, not upside down.

Some beautiful cues on this thread... had to throw mine in! My design, built by Jerry Powers of Jerico Cues. Forearm is Massacar (sp?) ebony with floating Turquoise points overlapping floating bocote points, all points outlined with figured maple. Bocote points are offset about .060" higher than the turq to give it a sort of crown effect Butt is ebony with turquoise diamonds and a 1/2" wide SS trim ring. Black stacked leather wrap. Rings at ABCD&E are bocote and ebony in SS rings. All of the inlays, points, bocote in rings, etc, line up perfectly, including the ones on the shafts when they're screwed to the butt. 60" long to accomodate my money arms, 19.25 ounces, 13mm tips, with Moori III Quicks.

Kinda flashy, but I'm told it fits my personality! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't have a digital picture of mine, right now, and don't know when I'll get a chance to take one. /ccboard/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Maybe I'll post one in the future.

Cane,

Is that a McDermott bumper on it? They have a distinctive shape.

I prefer no wrap at all for playing, but that's a very good-looking stick you have there!

I prefer leather/lizard but barring that no wrap! I actually have two cues on order now and I'm contemplating a third since I need to replace my Gilbert J/B that I just sold. I'm also now moving to 60" cues so I'm struggling over whether I want to keep this Skip or not. I love it but if I sold it I could order something else in a 60" cue...lol.

Here's mine... a 3 week old Schon CX61 w/ Predator 314 shaft. Nothing as fancy as the others posted previously on this thread, but it shoots pretty well.

Hi Lord_shar,

It's very nice. I don't concider the cue plain either. Is the inlay a green and what material?

Somehow I just end up with more cues than I can shake a stick at. Here are a few of my favorites:

The green inlays are malachite surrounded by ivory inlays. The forearm is grey stained bird's eye maple, and the floating points + butt sleeve are both ebony. I believe the bottom cap is some sort of resin plastic.

Been a while since I posted in here, but I just happened to catch the thread and happen to have some new pics. I suppose these would count as pics of my cues, they are just not finished yet /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyways, the first pic is of my J/B cue that should be completed later this month. Second pic shows the buttsleeve for my custom cue. Finally, the third pic is of the forearm with inlays set in thier pockets and the mockup of the buttsleeve. Should be able to get a good idea of what it's going to look like when it's done /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Hope you like 'em!

Almost forgot. For those inquiring minds who want to know, both of these cues are just about to become full-fledged Omen Cues /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Awesome Ken,

That cues the nuts. You'll need to post a pick of it when it's finally done and in your hands for us. You do know that? lol

C.C.

That cue is going to be gorgeous. Skip Weston just started on the blank for my next cue and it should be pretty sexy too...lol. You'll definitely have to post some pics for us to drool over when it's finished!
