I was wondering if you folks might have an opinion on this subject.
For a while now, I have been shooting with a 12.5mm tip and have found it very comfortable. The reason I started on the 12.5mm was to (or so I thought) to improve my cb control and sharpen my game.
I have recently experimented a bit with putting the 13mm back on, but have found that it feels like I am stroking with a roll of LifeSavers.
I feel that I have lost some of the firmness to my cue by using the 12.5mm, but other than that I am not fully aware of any other pros/cons.
Is there a general school of thought regarding tip diameters, or is it all about the comfort? Am I sacrificing control by trying to hit a certain spot on the cb more accurately?
Thanks
