Heh, it's a pseudo-news prelude to a new video game: Act of War.

Lot's of video game publishers do this kind of thing, and it can be pretty realistic. Here's another one (http://www.cfgoa.org/us/bulletin/#IS8945b) floating around now about the upcoming game "Cold Fear" where supposedly mysterious "head crab" type creatures are being found off the coast of Alaska. They produce official-looking press releases and created a bogus agency and web domain to host their site. Had several folks fooled, including me, until I noticed some of the photos were obviously faked and then after awhile the site suddenly redirected to the video game site. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif Click on the link to the CFGOA Advisory Team and then click on the picture of the fisherman "gutting" an exocell (the other pics will probably work too). Wait a few seconds and then the redirect will occur.

lol DM that thing looks really real, the game looks good too but not as good as Half Life 2. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
