I don't know if they still do, but playpool.com used to have them to print off.

Another place is www.mymidwestsports.com. (http://www.mymidwestsports.com.) They have them for any specific number you need, that way the byes are already taken care of.

Hi Stretch,

Let me know if you would like me to renumber them so they will automatically assign the byes.

Stretch,

When Ed Mercier set up the charts at playpool.com he just numbered the slots from 1 to 16 or 1 to 32 depending on the chart size. I renumber the slots to eliminate any guesswork about where the byes go. Suppose you have only 12 players. With the slots renumbered all you have to do is write the names in the slots numbered 1-12 and the byes are automatically evenly distributed.

Instead of numbering the slots 1-16 from top to bottom, I renumber them from top to bottom as follows:

1, 16, 8, 9, 4, 13, 5, 12, 2, 15, 7, 10, 3, 14, 6, 11

Using a 16 player chart with only 12 players it would automatically give you

1 vs bye
8 vs 9
4 vs bye
5 vs 12
2 vs bye
7 vs 10
3 vs bye
6 vs 11

The byes are spread evenly on the chart.

I have a full version of Acrobat so it is a simple matter for me to redo the numbers.

These brackets are nice. Is there somewhere I can look to get the best bye order for various brackets 16,32,64???
