Does anyone know the distance i need from edge of the table to the wall

Ideally about 5ft. minimum.(about the length of a 58" cue).
If you are shooting off the rail you would need at least that much for your back swing. Now, short of knocking a hole in the wall if you are challenged for space they make short cues for that purpose.
