Cincinnati has been debating a smoking ban. It would kill off whatever bars and clubs were not killed off by the riots.
However, if Newport bans smoking too, some Cincy night life may survive.
Tom, you should see the steady stream of cars on Fri. and Sat. nights headed south over the Big Mac bridge to Newport on the Levee.
Cincy needs a casino.

Yep! The "pleasure police" are also at work in Charlotte, trying to do the same thing.
Where is the ACLU when you NEED them???????????????
Our city has already ruled that a PRIVATE cemetary in town can not display the confederate flag, even though many of those buried there were confederate soldiers.
The way governments keep stifling individual freedoms is amazing, but more amazing is the way we just let them do it!

It is a sad day for personal freedoms but an overall good day for healthy living. CA, NY, and FL have each in their own way banned most smoking in public places and the pool halls have still survived. I know that here in FL the pool hall owners and other businesses with similiar interests got together and helped to change some of the particulars of the no smoking laws which allowed them to maintain business as usual.
