I recently spent a few days in the Peachtree Center area (at the Hyatt Regency). Barley's Billiards, (which is only a block away) was recommended by this board as is nice. About twenty 8 footers with Simonis. Good atmosphere. I don't know about action spots, since I'm not good enough to gamble (yet). Didn't seem to be any there though. I also spent some time in the underground mall at Charlie and Barney's. Couple of barboxes that I held all night (well most).

Cuemage...The top room in Atlanta is on the northeast side of the beltway, and is called Mr. Cues II. They have about 40 Kim Steel tables, all with Simonis. This is where most of the players hang out. There is also Players in Marietta, where Johnny Archer practices. Also, the Pool House, just off Peachtree Industrial Blvd, immediately outside the beltway (285). Hope this helps.
