View Full Version : Pre-Tournament routines and practice?

Just wondering what you all do to warm up for a tourny? What is your pre-tourny routine (not your pre-game routine)? What kinds of drills will you do prior to tourny start time? You can add the mental prep also if you so wish. Just curious. I'll bet there is as much diversity here as there is in the sticks we play with.

Hit some balls to get confidence and the speed of the table. Find out where to break from. Think positive.

Well since I'm busy signing up players and don't get to even take my cue out of my case until 5 minutes before my first match, I have to make my short warmup count. I usually shoot straight-in shots about 4-5 diamonds away into both the corner pockets to see how my mechanics are doing.
