Here it is. I have only played a few hours with it, but I like it so far. Very solid cue.

Nice cue...is that amboyna burl?
How would you describe the "hit"...stiff, crisp, soft.
What does Scott charge for a cue like that?
I've been thinking about getting a fancy pete from him but was hoping to hit with one before I commited.

The cue hits really sweet. Very crisp. The joint sends some good feedback to my hand and the wrap dulls the vibration just a little. Very cleanly well made, simple cue, and the wrap is superb and feels nice and smooth. I would say this cue hits fairly stiff, and the deflection is minimal and easy to adjust to. If you're considering buying one, don't hesitate, I got mine in just over 2 weeks. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but the pics don't even show how sweet the grain is. Superbly built cue, especially for the money--285.00.

I just talked to Scot. It is in the cocobolo family, but it is more brown than most coc. I have seen. It has some really nice figure. It does kinda look like amb. burl though, doesn't it?
Anyway, I am most pleased with this cue, and I recommend him.

Peace

So when you head out to the pool hall with a Sherbine you would be putting on the Ritz.

I'll be here all week folks. Don't forget to tip your waitresses.
