Betting on your pool league match.

I've never seen it happen around my area.

Has anyone seen individuals making a bet with their APA/BCA/TAP/VNEA match opponents. I know most organizations frown upon gambling being involved, but I'm sure it has to happen.

Can you see a SL2 propositioning a SL7 to make a $50 bet on their match?

Nah, but maybe a couple of equal skill level opponents.

I think I said it in another post on this board, but a few weeks ago my opponent's team laid out a $5 bet (oh yeah, big pimpin'!) that I would win the match. My opponent betted on me also. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I am sorry to report that I let them down, LMAO!

I've had a few idiots ask but 1) since uts against the rules and frowned upon (for good reason) by the APA and I am a captain I do not go there!
2) since I have to see these players week in and week out (we have a 23 team inhouse division ) I won't do it after the match either ! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif well almost never ! I had one guy that pissed me off so bad I had to lend him gas money to go home afterwards ! But he was an exception! /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
