View Full Version : Run Scores?

I saw postings of like 35 balls run and 50 and 100. How do I go about seeing how I would score? Is this running out like 20+ games in a row? That seems impossible.

the game is called "straight pool" or "14.1"
go here http://www.bca-pool.com/play/ and click on "game rules" on the upper left and then click on "14.1 continuous"

Yea that's just how many balls a person runs on straight game before a miss. Its a nice goal to set for yourself trying to get higher and higher. If you're one of the good ones you'll have your name put up on board at the poolroom you ran the balls in, usually titled "high runs". That's like your lil wall of fame. Here in nyc most of the high runs are posted from pro's that run like 125 or more...so its damn hard to get up on the "high run" list.
