I have shot a little with this shaft... I thought it felt pretty nice. Nice control of the cueball and with fairly low deflection.
The ferulle was really short, about 1/2" or so in length. This was the I-2 shaft from Mcdermott.
Anyone else hit with these new shafts? And please post your comments...

try a search or a post at azb. a couple of folks there have tried them
I'm a big McDermott fan but I surely would have to try one out before shelling out that kind of money

I have the 1-3 I got to test on my Jacoby, only because Im a Mc Dermott dealer, It plays great but its way to thin for me, 11.75mm i believe. The main difference between the 3 shafts is the diameter of the shaft as far as I can tell.

I have used the McD I-2 shaft also, and it plays great, you can feel the "sweet spot" on this shaft, especially on the finess strokes where a lotta english is required...I think it feels great. This was an expensive choice...But worth every dollar.
Grab one... you will feel the difference on the first stroke.
good hunting....DrDraw
