Surprise, surprise, the Meucci website telling you that the Meucci Black Dot is a great shaft. I wonder why I'm not overwhelmed.

Skeptical or gullible? /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
The most accurate shaft in the world yet not one pro uses it.
Wait, maybe Jim Rempe and Lori Jon Jones?
Never mind, they are on his payroll.
I've seen some Black Dot shafts in the repair shop.
The secret to their low deflection is just a very soft ferrule with a big gap between the cap and the tenon.

let me tell you a little secret about that machine he is using. a couple of years ago somebody challenged his machine and cue test with a richard black and a black boar shaft. guess who won..not his red shot shaft that meucci was touting at the time. and after being embarrased by the test and the humiliation he did not come back for the rest of the week. it was proven that there is a way to, what i would say, rig it. watch how much chalk he puts on the shaft and where he puts it. i would never own another meucci. even if he gave me the whole company......mike
