spoke to Sailor yesterday. He hopes to be there. Unfortunately, my wife thinks I should stay home and go to a neighbor's daughter's 8th grade graduation party instead. Pretty important stuff.

I know some of the fellows from Red Shoes will be there. Are you gonna get your feet wet? Dennis

A neighbor's daughter's 8th grade graduation????
I feel your pain...lol
I'm just going as a spectator. I'll use the $30 to get some play time on a table for the next couple of weeks... something I really have not done in the last 2 1/2months.
I hope your wife reconsiders.

No contest. I'd go to the party.

Coming from the one-loss side, Tom Karabatsos beat Ed Lattimer twice to win the tournament. I believe Willie Munson finished third. The tournament drew only 10 players.

Karabotsos showed up. too. How about Carter?

Not much of a turnout. I think there were about 29 players last time.

I hope I don't draw Ed Latimer tonight in our straight pool league.

As you probably know, Tommy Karabatsos is an owner of the room so that probably gave him some added incentive to participate; that and the fact he plays damn good straight pool. Carter was not there. The other most notable player in the tournament was Marco Marquez. He lost his first match to Ed, but I don't who knock him out.

i must have esp. lucky me, I got to play Ed Latimer tonight in our straight pool league. Anyway, he beat me pretty good 185-about 65 and 185-85. Handicapped and I needed to go to 95. Had him 42-24 the second game but he put the clamps on me. Lots of safes. His high run was only 24, mine about 17.

George Fels ran 52 and 48 against a buddy of mine tonight.

Good night.

I DID? I know I won, and thought I played reasonably well after a ghastly start, but I had no idea I ran that many balls. (Maybe that's why I ran them!) Thanks, Dennis. GF
