How do you get the cigarette smoke smell out of a linen wrap?
Will Febreze work?

Have you tried switching to cigars?

Good one.
I quit 5 years and 30 pounds ago, but I recently picked up a Rick Howard cue that smells like Ron White's (aka Tater Salad) right hand.
Needless to say, it stinks to high heaven.
I really want to take this cue to the poolhall to try it out, but the smell is so pungent I'll have to drag along a possum carcass to offset the aroma.
Any ideas yet?
Thanks.

Linen wraps can be a real headache to clean. First, when you go to clean it you really can't twist it because you run the risk of unwrapping it, so I would suggest a cloth with some car interior cleaner like Dry Clean, just use a little foam and gently rub up and down while turning the cue. Secondly, if that does not work, get it rewrapped that would be ideal.

Try submersing it in alcohol, then drying it with a shop vac.
