Phenolic tip

Looking for opinions and the do'e and don'ts on phenolic tips. Questions for the cuemakers, what grade of phenolic do you use, is there a special type of glue? Thanks in advance.

I recommend using a capped ferrule when applying a phenolic tip. Some phenolic tips are hard to glue. The jump tips from Raven custom cues are excellent and glue well with QuikTite gel. http://ravencues.com/jumptip.html
