View Full Version : $225,000 Face-off between Sigel and Jones
I thought the payout was winner gets 100k and loser gets 50k. Where is the 225k coming in? Did the payout increase and I did not notice?
Did anyone participate last night while Loree was online? How did it go? Were there many people asking questions?

I believe it's $150K to the winner and half that to the loser.
I was on the chat for about 30 minutes. There were anywhere from 12 to 18 people on during that time. If you click on the button, you can read a transcript of what was written. I think Loree Jon is great and it was fun to hear from her unscripted and live.

My understanding is that it's 150K and 75K. But what do I know, I'm just a dumb dutchman.
DG - I could be wrong tho'

It was originally 100k and 50k. It got raised to 75k and 150k I think about two weeks ago. If you go through their press releases, you can see that the first few had the smaller prize money indicated and the newer ones have the higher amount.

Others have already said it but the prize money is $150k for the winner and $75k for the runner up. Very nice guaranteed money for a pool event.
The chat was interesting but I had one problem. I joined late and was afraid to ask questions because I didn't know what had been asked already and I could not find a way to view what had already transpired in the chat prior to my arrival. My advice to anyone planning on taking part in the other chats is to get there on time so you don't miss anything.
The transcript to the Loree Jon chat is here (http://www.billiardsdigest.com/online_chat/ljtranscript.php).
All right. That makes sense. Most of the time I only read the press stuff once.
