Huebler shaft insert

Hey all, Wondering if anyone other than Huebler uses these plastic inserts in their shafts. Does anyone know the pros & cons of this insert? Appreciate any info. . . . Thanks . . . moonpuppy

They're just nylon with a 5/16 18 thread.
I think it would have been better if they used a 5/16 14 pin instead so that the threads aren't as fine and harder to cross thread accidentally.

I have had Hueblers in the past and had customers with them to, never any problems I knew about.
