Great pictures Rich!

....and those trophies sure look great!

I talked briefly on Saturday with Wendy, Mike (cueball1950), Rich and Brian in VA.

Next year's replica trophies are certain again, so lets start next year's list!

Great pictures! Is there a way I can print copies? My computer didn't seem to feel it was legal...

Great Pictures! I never knew you took that photo of me. Didn't know you could make me look so good. We'll be back next year!

There are many laws involved and a lot of complicated issues.
The bottom line is, a photographer is the owner of the images he/she makes, per the copy right laws, and the pictures can not be used without his/her permission.
Also, pictures of people, used to report an event, is legal. If you use them for any other purpose, a release is necessary from the people in the picture.
This only scratches the surface of the laws involved. Many people are under the mistaken impression that they can copy any picture off of the internet and use it.
They are breaking the law.

Vagabond, it is dificult to take your own picture, from behind the camera. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I do believe some others, with cameras, may have captured my picture. They may post one, if their camera survived. /ccboard/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I am in the group shot. My wife took that picture for us.

Rich, Great job with the results and tournament pictures, also, the dinner pictures. I swear, I'm going to make it one of these years. Thanks for a glimpse of what I missed. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As always, a terrific job with the camera Rich. You have the amazing ability to make every pic look like a candid instead of something we posed for. Thanks again for all your hard work which we all know is a labor of love!

I find the difference in the way I look at the dinner versus the way I look at the CCB tourney interesting. Saturday morning you could have blindfolded me with dental floss. /ccboard/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Bags under my eyes look like Samsonites.

A good time was had by one and all. And I forgot to shout out to Wes when I posted yesterday. We managed to notch a win together!

Regards to all and can't wait to see you next year or sooner!

WesK is my hero.

Thanks a lot for the pictures (though you think you could edit out the pit stains? /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif). Saturday was an absolute blast and taking home that trophy was icing on the cake. Great job Brian on the trophies, it looks great over my cue rack. I'll post a picture of it soon. I do, however, prefer the title North American Champion to runner up (Peter is of course the European Champion /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif).

I wish i had more time to spend with all of the CCBers. It really felt like home seeing everyone again. It was nice to make some new friends as well. I was definitely glad to finally meet dgincentral pa and Mary. Very nice people. Can't wait to see how well Mary plays next year with her new cue and lessons from the great Scott Lee.

Rich, Cathy, Wendy, you all did a great job in setting up and running the tourney. Mike and Brian and all other contributors had a great array of prizes. It was a lot of fun.

Can't wait 'til next year.

If I could see into the future enough to know that we were going to have a European champion and a North American Champion I would have made the trophies that way. I also would have paid for all of us to attend the Mosconi Cup this fall since I'd have hit the Lottery several times this year. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Glad you like the trophy; I'm glad they turned out so well. Harold and I have already talked about next year's.

Brian in VA - still feeling an Open buzz.

Here too, just still tired as well. What a time! Mr. DG & I went to our "pool hall" tonight and played for a while. The new stick has a great balance to it. I just need to learn how to use it.

Murray, I want to thank you for your generous donation to our annual tournament. I look forward to receiving and playing with your cue. Cocobolo is my favorite wood and the picture looked great.
