He'll have to pack up and get out since the republicans didn't manage to change the law to so that he could stay in the Senate even if he was charged. Hopefully, they'll get Senate Majority Leader Frist next for insider trading, then Cheney and Bush for outing Valarie Plame. Things may be looking up for this country! The justice Department is going to be busy clearing out all the Republican misister/evangelist/born again/republican/crooks /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just watched Larry King on CNN with, among others, A Coulter! I think she is psychotic and/or moronic! Apparently this is all a partisan ruse to get Tom!
A strange conclusion, I think, considering the fact that he has already been admonished 3 times and almost everyone who worked with him or was closely associated with him, is under investigation!

Coulter is expert at interrupting everyone when she is on talk shows, no one can get a word in edgewise, not to mention her shrieking voice.

There are so many now being investigated, federally, how can people deny the corruption in this administration. Cheny's chief of staff, Bush's chief of staff, four more who were in Delay's staff, Delay himself, Frist, both majority leaders. We're financing both sides of this war, oil money going over to be used to kill our troops. If this country survives Bush and the corrupt republicans it will be a miracle.

People defend Bush even after they watched the collosal failures of Homeland Security and FEMA, as if local Government has the the same resources to handle a national disaster as the Federal Government. What we have here is a group of evil conservatives who are still focussing on a blow job instead of facing the fact that George Bush is even more inept than his Father was, if that is possible. They need Clinton to come back and show them how to grow the economy and still exercise fiscal responsibility. We had eight years of growth, and a surplus under Clinton, now look where we are. But the right, the emotional right, doesn't deal with facts, just what they NEED to think.

Take the hurricaine, they want to compare the power of a Governor and a Mayor to the resources of the Federal Government. They don't even know when the Governor asked for federal assistance, it was on saturday, not sunday, SEND EVERYTHING YOU HAVE, said the Governor. They don't watch C-span, where they would have heard the representatives from New Orleans begging for enough money to restore the wetlands and rebuild the levees. But republicans were building bridges to no where.

Four days of watching people on rooftops begging for the government to send help, and all they want to talk about is how the mayor and Governor should have done better in the face of the most devastating natural disaster to ever hit this country, while Bush was vacationing, and his aids were afraid to tell him to cut his vacation short. Now, he's there seven times, playing Juliani, photo ops are his forte, after ignorring the failures during the first hurricaine. The ability of the right to deny reality is unlimited! WHERE was he on the second day, third day, forth day, while people stood on rooftops begging for help?

He filled both top levels of FEMA and HLS with political paybacks with absolutely NO experience in disaster control. Do they say anything about that? Hell no. After the storm hit, that's when people died, and that's when the Federal Government should have stepped in, not five days later! WE all watched the Mayor, and the Governor, Begging, pleading for federal help. Where was the right then? Don't they even turn on the television? I know theyd on't read....just google what they want to believe.

Incredible!

Oh, yeah...love the title of the thread. Just remember it when your liberal, socialist, guys find themselves on the receiving end of this kind of witch hunt.

HA HA HA HA....He's not there today, or didn't you notice?

Yeah, I'm happy that we're starting to see some of the crooks in the Republican party get what they deserve. Delay was hooked up with Abramoff, running sweat shops, where women were raped, children were locked in with no air conditioning in horrible heat, and Delay played golf, and hob nobbed with Abramoff...guess you never heard about that?

Oh yes, it's a witch hunt, like the right wing didn't have a witch hunt against Clinton? You righties can dish it out, but you can't take it. I guess you think the District Court Judge, the Grand Jury, and the D.A. are all Democrats...have some more Kool Aid my friend, you aint seen nothing yet.... /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Delay's crime was politically motivated, so I don't see any reason in the liberal hit squad going after him for political reasons. As long as he is guilty.

<hr /></blockquote> Don't bother, she already gave the left a free pass. They can do no wrong. The only criminals in DC are the Repubs.

Hey, it's great to see you so excited about this indictment. Maybe they will clean house when they get through with Delay. I was listening to the news today and heard two of the best and brightest expounding on the gaul of this guy for even being alive. I'm talking about Barney Franks and Edward Kennedy, who are experts on ethics. What worries me a little though, is the record of this Texas prosecutor that brought the indictment against Delay. He has a string of people that he has indicted, but very few were found guilty when brought before a jury. My advice to you is to enjoy this as much as you can before Bush sends the next hurricane.

Gayle, I'm not sure "Hoorays" are in order. With 6 powerful people facing charges now, from the party that promised to bring "reform"....it's less an expose on the machinations of one party, then it is another example of the decay and total corruption of our political system. By the time one gets elected to an important office, the most zealous persons values are altered by the special interest groups they are obligated to. It's akin to selling your soul to the devil, in exchange for power.
That said, I preferred Clinton and his peccadillos to the present chickenhawk party.
If Diogenes were alive today, and confined his search amongst politicians....it would be Quixotic, at best.

Can we ever get these Yahoos, dems and rebs, out of office, and vote in the Houyhnhnms?
