Well, I know I haven't posted in quite a while and those of you who don't post at AZB probably don't know me, but I thought I'd share some pics of my new Skip nonetheless. Let me know what you think:

Great looking cue!

You gonna be at Zims tourney on the 8th so I can see your new cues in person?

Zeeder, I think you should reduce the size of the pictures, before posting them. /ccboard/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW, it is a very nice cue. /ccboard/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have to agree with you Rich, on both accounts. The cue is beautiful, very nice wood choice and superb ring work. Sizing the pics down to at least 700 pixels wide would be nice too. Other than that, it is a great cue. Congrats!

Thanks for the suggestion. Truth is I did reduce them quite a bit...lol. The originals were 3008x2000 pixels. I forget that not everyone has a high-speed connection with a huge screen. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Woody, I am planning on going to that tourney! Barring any unforseen obstacles I'll be there.

Very nice, got a cigarette. One question, what happened to the flared butt cap style of Skip Weston.

Thanks for the compliment! Perry Weston is the one who has the flared butt cap.

I know it's pretty but how does it hit??????

The cue hits great! It's 60" long and weighs 19.1oz with the balance point coming in at 18.5" from the butt end. It's weird, I have a Gilbert J/B that is the same weight but with a balance point of 20.5" and I love the way both of them play...lol.

I've been pretty lucky on the whole! I have two Skip Weston's, a Gilbert J/B and an Edwin Reyes with a matching BJX and they all play fantastic. They all play differently, but I tend to play with a lot of different cues so I adjust to a new cue really quickly.

Since I listed them out I thought I'd post my other cues for your viewing pleasure:
