Doesn't look like many pros are attending this event.
Anyone have any additional info on this event? Thanks.

The list of attendees is at:
Down at the bottom is the list of people signed up for the 1-Pocket tourney. Not even 40 signed up so far. There is Daulton, Helfert, Hoa, Owen, Runnels, and Wiseman.
That is nothing like the list of pros who attended the old Kalamazoo events!

They are up to 41 it looks like now -- and these are all advance sign-ups. It looked like a lot of the CA crowd plans to sign up on arrival, because I didn't see very many of them in there yet. The tourney's posted maximum is 64, so it looks like they might come close to that if players can sign up on arrival.
The earlier US Open One Pocket in Kalamazoo was a very well regarded tournament, but missing a few years was bound to lose some traction. That said, who would you rather have in place to pick it up again other than mark Griffin and Diamond? I think you will see it grow right back to bigger and even better than it was when it took a haitus.
