One of the defining moments in the Civil rights movement.
Her courage, her defience, her " one person against the establishment " were akin, in it's time, to the "tiananmen square" incident, of recent times. We are all indebted to Rosa Parks.

Here! here!

What incredible courage she had! How many of us could stand up like that, knowing that we could be beaten to death for it?

Actually Fran, I think it was her NOT standing up that made her famous! /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
