"However, Bill cannot run for president any more. The 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution prohibits it. Still, there is nothing to stop him for running for vice-president.

So, the plan is this. Nominate 99-year-old South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond for President and, as his running mate, 55-year-old Bill Clinton for vice-president."

God preserve us from that!!!!!

BTW, if he were VP and bumped off Hillary, would it violate the 2 term prohibition for him to become president.

I'm not sure, but I think that once you get impeached, you're no longer allowed to run for public office. I'm not sure if that only applies to impeached and convicted people, or if impeachment alone is enough to disqualify someone from public service. If it's impeachment alone, then Bill wouldn't be able to serve on his local City Counsel..

I know he finished his term, but he was impeached in 1998 on a couple of different charges. He wasn't removed from office because the Senate didn't convict him on the charges.
He was one of only two Presidents ever impeached.
