hey guys i am kinda new to the billiards scene but i have acquired the liking very fast. i just saw 7 ball on espn and i was wondering how do u play as in rules etc and how do u rack it b/c it looks funny /ccboard/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hi Likwid, 7ball is played with the same rules as 9ball. the exceptions being that you're only allowed 1 safe shot and there is a ball in hand foul on any shot not pocketed.(good thing you're allowed 1 safe shot. which should be called when playing a difficult shot) if you pocket the OB on a safe shot you continue shooting.
the balls are racked with a filler ball in the front 7 in the middle with the triangle at an angle so that when you remove the filler ball the 1 is at the head and all the balls are equally (tightly) spaced in a circle around the 7ball
After that it's run em out or lose :P
