Troy of San Jose has passed

Troy, a frequent poster to this forum, passed away about a month ago after a long struggle with cancer. He was a pool fanatic. He repaired the house cues where I play until shortly before his death. He will be missed.

I had the good fortune to meet Troy when I was in the poolroom in San Jose, to give a lesson to another CCBr & and his fiance, last June. I didn't even know Troy was ill. You certainly couldn't tell from his appearance or attitude. A very nice man, who will be missed...

Thanks for letting us know, Bob. That's bad news. I didn't realize Troy was ill and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet him. He contributed a lot to the boards over the years, his presence and experience will be missed.

I have not been reading the forum much lately but I have just been saddened and shocked about Troy's passing.

What sad news, I haven't been around for about 2 1/2 years, but remember the contributions to this community troy made.
