View Full Version : Mezz Power break cue weight change
11-10-2005, 01:10 AM
Does anyone knows if the Mezz Power break has a weight bolt and how to remove it.
How do I remove the bumper? it does not screw out, I don't want to use too much force that may damage the cue.
Any help with this will be great.
Thanks a lot

this is what I got from Mezz:
"Yes it is possible - like all Mezz Cues - to change the weight of the Mezz Power Break cue.
Tip: Put your tooth on the rubber bumper with little pressure and turn the butt."
It works.... /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
just thought some of you would like to know

Are you aware some cuemakers, especially custom cuemakers,
will glue the bolt in, so it will not come loose and rattle
when you stroke. They can be switched out, but if you do
not know the right way to do it, you can damage your cue.

I know that schon cues are doing that so I'm sure that there are others that do that as well.
in this case there was no glue.
my problem was to remove the bumper, it didn't come out without the use of force, I just wanted to know if force was the way to go
