I have seen this table in person. It's very cool. Here are the downsides of the outdoor table.

1, the playing surface has a rubbery kind of feel, which doesn't allow for much in the way of english.

2, I was not impressed with the cushions. They were kinda dead. And the table I saw was brand new.

It's more of a novelty item that rich guys might have out by their hot tub.

I've played on a few and they can be fairly decent. An outdoor table tends to be more recreational than competetive in use, so if it's a very good table yet not quite competition grade it may not be that big of a problem. I looked at a few websites searching "outdoor pool tables" (use 'tables' and not 'table'); and here's one that says it has the same rails as anyone else: http://www.outdoorpooltables.com/series-3000.html

Maybe it's the outdoor cloth that makes them play a bit different. There's one on eBay right now that has a lighting system for night play. Very cool.
