Dear Friends I have been asked to send this out to all my friends.
Thank You

BELLEVUE - Santa will have some special helpers this
year when FRANKS FAMILY, a local Relay for Life team
begins addressing letters from Santa to children.
Terry Stewart and Bernadette Ferguson, co-captains of
FRANK'S FAMILY are heading up the campaign to raise
funds for the American Cancer Society's signature fund
raising event, Relay for Life.
"The team is in honor of our dad, Frank J. Klein Sr.,
" said Stewart, who is also the co-chair of the 2006
Sandusky Relay for Life.
Klein was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease just weeks
before Christmas, 1969. Doctors estimated his
survival to be three weeks to three months. However,
as Klein told a religious group before his death in
2001, "I had to little girls at home to raise. I knew
I couldn't die.'' Although surgeons removed as much of
the malignant tumor in Klein's neck they were unable
to get it all and a rigorous schedule of radiation
therapy was begun at the now defunct Memorial Hospital
in Sandusky. To the surprise of many the tumor began
to shrink and was eventually eradicated. Klein was
declared cured in 1974 and remained cancer-free for
the remainder of his life.
"As part of our fund raising efforts, for a five
dollar per letter donation, we will send personalized
letters to children for the holiday season,'' said the
sisters. Please be sure to include the child's first
Request for the letters can be mailed to:

through the Relay for Life event.
