help needed: unknown pool table

I bought a house with a pool table and as much as I would like to play it, my kids are taking over the room and I need to get rid of it. The problem is, that I have no idea what kind of a pool table this is (it's 8') and how much could I sell it for - maybe it's only worth the removal fee, I don't know. Can anyone help? It looks like an older table (20+ yrs). If it has a slate bed, and it's 3/4 to 1" thick, it could probably fetch $500-$1000. You can look underneath and tell if it's slate or not, and measure the thickness inside the pocket opening. If it is slate, the table will be VERY heavy (it would take at least two people to pick up one end a couple of inches). If it's not slate, it is likely only worth the removal fee, whatever that is.
