I would like to congratulate Eurowest Cues(owned by Markus Funk&Andreas Stahl,Germany, and who,by the way, are one of my sponsors), for sealing a deal with Blatt Billiards,NYC through Victor Stein, (who is a sweetheart) for Blatt to be the Exclusive EUROWEST CUES distributor in the US-you gotta love NY!!!!!!! :grin /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif-
I would like to thank Victor for taking the time to look at the cues produced by Andreas-so thank you Victor!

Markus came to NY this past Wednesday-I met him on Thursday at Blatt-had lunch and the negotiations were on-I value Victors opinion of cues and all I can say is "WOW"-the cues Markus brought with him were absolutely beautiful-good job ANdreas-I love you guys and Im so proud to be a part of you!
Ummmmm, and the only part I played in this deal was the phonecall,ha ha ha ha-it was up to them to present the cues and what a presentation it was!Great job!
/ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Go Eurowest!
Carol~very honored and proud /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif!

Hey Duane,
I just wanted to mention that Victor Stein wrote the "Billiard Encyclopedia" and I believe edited the first edition of "the Bluebook of Cues", so his opinion is a very respectable one,ya know!
ALSO, now I have to thank MIAMI VOODOO STEVE-THANKYOU ,thankyou, I NEVER,EVER forget!

Hey there Drop,
Glad you like them-18 oz/12 mil sounds good to me,although ,I shoot with 19 oz./12.5 /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif
as for Euro/american rate, I found this on an exchange website:

1000 Euro(s) = 1171.5 American Dollar(s)

1 USD = 0.85361 EUR
1 EUR = 1.1715 USD
Well at least no more phone calls to Germany, jeesh, I was using a calling card LMAO-now all anyone has to do is call BLATT /ccboard/images/graemlins/cool.gifIf your at SBE, Im certain you will have that chance, also, they have come out with a new break/jump cue, too! /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey Voodoo!!

Yep!! It's the Regional Tour Championships at Cunningham's Pool and Darts!!

The top 6 from each tour are invited to play. Top prize is a free ride into all 7 WPBA events for 2006. And I think they're paying out the top half of the field. We're going to make a mini vacay of it and hit Orlando and Disney World since I've never been there!

Hey Barry!! I'm going to Disney World!!! Woohooooooo!!!

We have the minus going on too and its only 7:30pm with cloud cover - maybe a foot of snow on the driveway. Just got a call from one of the Bozeman players - Jeff Boucher. He is making the trip to pick up his new custom cue he designed and should be here in an hour unless the weather turns bad.

Allright, the keyword here would be "snowblower"-just joshing with ya /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Honestly, I havent sledded in~5 years and it wasnt even a sled, it was a a snowtube and wouldnt ya know, after hours of tubing, we get down to the bottom of this one spot, a stick or treeroot is sticking up from the ground and "BAM" pops the damn tube,ha ha ha,well, thats the end of snowtubes-I enjoyed iceskating-we had a house at Hunter Mountain upstate for~15 years, tried skiing but fell and got hurt,so,I just watched /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I was more a summer sport person-we had a house in Toms River-water-skiing was my thing, rollerskating and horseback riding-I guess Im a warm, sun person /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have a snowblower but I don't think the people in my developement would appreciate it running at 5am. We got around 8-10 inches. It's very fluffy so it wasn't hard to shovel. I did Mary's side, so she could get out of the garage and be at work by 7:30am. I'll work out of home today, so I'll wait for the snow plows to do my street, then go out with the blower. They always plow my driveway shut after I clean it. Bummer...
Be Good,
Duane

Barbara
12-09-2005, 11:14 AM
You got fluffy snow?? You're lucky! After it finished snowing here Mother Nature decided to pour rain on it so it's back-breaking heavy! I was told not to shovel, but I couldn't stand it and went out to find my car. I did the sidewalks and stuff, but I'm leaving the driveway to Mr. Snowplow.

Yes that was the cue - the finished cue has been on my website. Jeff was a happy camper last night when he picked it up - told me to change it to SOLD! And he is spending all day playing with it in Kalispell. I think he is coming up for air about Monday. And anytime you are this way, stop in, maybe we can work out something with a cue. Have a nice holiday - atleast we don't have the minus 45 like Swanson in West Yellowstone.

I miss a few things, growing up with my huge family around me, living very close to the NY JETS training camp and the change of season. We left NY 1/3/72 it was 21 degrees when we landed in Miami it was 80 and I have hated it ever since!! To answer Barbara's question I lived in Brentwood, Long Island.
