The great Rithchie Florence died Tuesday in Los Angleles.

That is sad to hear, I have watched him play many times in the LA area and he was one hell of a player.

Rod...I also knew Richie, for more than 25 yrs! First time I saw him play was at Bill Incardona's World 9-Ball tournament in Burlington, IA in 1975! I well remember him borrowing a couple hundred from me, getting back into the ring game that had busted him, and beating everybody for the CASH! LOL Got my $200 back, plus a nice bonus! May he rest in peace!

Sorry to hear about Ritchie. His undying devotion to pool as a player and promoter will be sorley missed. Rest in Peace Ritchie.
