I have an old one piece Brunswick B25 cue and want to get it cut into a two piece and have an ivory joint fitted.

My question is - who is the best man for the job?

Yes, Dave Whitsell use to be in Newport. Just took over Quality Billiards in North San Diego. Also Little Al at Hardtimes Bellflower. Or Kerry Zieler Garden Grove or Anaheim.

Send it to Mike Webb.
Kerry Zeiler is the best cue repairman locally to you but he does not use ivory ( uses staghorn ) and has a 4 year workload right now.

I would go with Dave for that. Call him he goes back and forth between Newport and San Diego Throughout the week. He is in the Bluebook but you won't have to wait long. Lots of experience. Use to be with Prather. Then On his own for a long time.

As a new Englander I go to Mike Webb. I had mike do a moori tip on a cue for me, and unfortunately it popped off after 3 weeks of use. I brought it back to him and he replaced it for free. He gurantees his work, and stands by it. Since then I haven't had a problem, and had him do my other two shafts. There's something be said about someone who is that committed to his gurantee.
