It's reallly a waste of time here to comment on the political corruption so rampant in the Republican party....when the news agencies do such a better job.

I personally find it interesting that so many believe there are deep fundamental differences in the two parties. Republicans = right wing of American Communist Party; Democrats = left wing of American Communist Party. Neither of them acknowledge that it's not their money, and either would grow without bound if unchecked.

People are driven by an overpowering need to choose sides, even when there's not a dime's worth of difference in the teams.

I hardly think it is a matter of choosing sides. We live in a country where we each have a vote, although some with Supreme Court connections inherited from Daddy, and with brothers whose mistresses are State officials, manage to prevent the counting process.

If you are going to vote, you must select a side to vote for. If you are lucky, and the Republicans aren't able to muddy up the waters with non issues, like whether gays can marry, thereby capturing the votes of homophobics, and the religious right, or by attacking womens' rights, and capturing the votes of misogynists, both evangelical, and contemporary, you just might get an election where atleast the real problems we face as a nation will be discussed, and our votes will be safe from tampering.

The K Street Project should have tipped off the country to the coming of the King and his power hungry administration.
