Has any one tried Triumph tips or would triangle or elk masters be better?

I've never tried triumph tips, but I prefer triangle over elk master anyday. elkmaster is like putting gummy bears on the end of your cue.

I won't say one is better or worse, but they are totally different tips. Which one is better depends on which one YOU like.

Triumph seems to be a good-playing tip, lasts longer than elk master but still fairly soft.
My biggest complaint about triumph tips is the pre-attached pad. The adhesive job is inconsistent, and I have had triumphs work loose from their pads. When that happened, I inspected the glue and found it to be sort of gummy, as if it had never hardened well. I suspect they used something like contact cement.

I have used contact cement to install tips and it definitely works well, when done correctly.
I never had a tip installed with contact cement come off, so I can't say if it stays "gummy". I have to assume it does not.
