That is the number given for India and China combined for the last ten year period. Is there away to address this through our trade agreements:in fact do we have the power,or the will? I guess if you're doing all your maufacturing there, and sending your jobs there, you look the other way.

Two results not predicted by China, and India.
1.A shotage of brides in India.
2.China will have the largest percentage of old people to support, with the lowest percent of young people. So they are easing up on the one child policy

Stephen, I subscribe to that mag myself....great mag with stories not found anywhere else.
And from that same issue....consuming 1000 units of Vitamin D a day.....halves the risk of colorectal cancer, and could save 28000 lives each year. That alone was worth the price of my subscription...

I understand that this is a serious problem. Why you want to discuss these subjects with pool players puzzles me. You are one of the people I walk away from at the pool hall.
Btw...
Make sure its a pretty flower.

It's true guys. I have a friend who went to China and adopted two of them and brought them home to save them. I first heard about that situation from him.

I'm curious does China still have a two baby per family limit? I believe that is one of the main reasons for these killings.
