I've searched the archives for ivory ferrules. I didn't find any information on keeping them clean. Just picked up a new weapon and it came with 2 shafts and ivory ferrules. These are new to me. Before, I used soft n scrub bleach on my other cues ivor-x ferrule. It really worked great. I was always careful to keep the bleach away from the tip. Would this harm ivory ferrules?

As of now, I am wiping the cue down daily with a very slightly dampened paper towel. This is working fine, but I was wondering if there were any other products that would be safe to use. I've always been extremely particular about clean equipment. I don't want a racing stripe on my ferrule.

I've never needed anything other than a damp paper towel to clean ivory ferrules. You will find that they are extremely easy to keep clean. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
